About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Inglewood, Canton Kitchen offers an authentic Chinese culinary experience focused primarily on convenient takeout service. While the cozy space—once a donut shop—limits seating and does not provide restroom access, it more than makes up for this with bold flavors and generous portions that keep locals coming back for more.

The menu at Canton Kitchen is a wonderful celebration of classic Chinese dishes, with a standout selection of Chow Mein and Chow Fun or Lo Mein options. Customers rave about tender, flavorful BBQ pork paired with perfectly stir-fried noodles, while shrimp lovers enjoy specialties like Kung Pao Shrimp, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and the delightfully tangy Orange Shrimp. Each dish bursts with vibrant textures—from the crisp freshness of bok choy accompanying the shrimp to the rich, savory sauces that coat every morsel.

For rice aficionados, the Shrimp Fried Rice is a must-try, praised for its fresh, plump shrimp and comforting, well-balanced seasoning. House Special Fried Rice and hearty pork fried wontons add delicious variety for those craving something familiar yet elevated. Soup options like the hearty Wor Wonton Soup provide a warm, soothing complement to your meal.

Canton Kitchen thrives as a quick and reliable go-to spot for tasty Chinese food without the fuss—perfect for takeout when hunger calls for delicious, no-nonsense fare. The staff’s warm friendliness and efficient service contribute to the overall experience, even if occasional hiccups in online delivery have been noted. Many customers, including longtime fans, appreciate the consistent quality and value, praising the freshness of ingredients and the satisfying portions. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or feeding a group, Canton Kitchen delivers robust flavors and comfort in every bite.

For those seeking flavors that linger and dishes made with care, Canton Kitchen in Inglewood stands as a sincere and flavorful option, especially for lovers of traditional Chinese favorites and mouthwatering shrimp specials. Next time you crave a heartfelt meal with familiar, well-crafted tastes, Canton Kitchen is ready to delight your palate.

It looks like it use to be a donut shop. Not a lot of seating and they won't let you use the restroom. Buti got the pad thia noodles instead of chow main and with it I got BBQ pork which was very tender and full of flavor and the orange chicken which was really good too. It's probably the best in a long time thar I have ever had. I can't find good Chinese food out in Rancho Cucamonga.

I really love their shrimp fried rice. I get the large portion, and it's more than enough. The shrimp is fresh and the ladys working inside are friendly and it's one of my goto places in Inglewood. Im on my way there now

It’s only 4 stars because of the initial service. I ordered online for delivery, I was feeding 10 people and ordered 12 items. Delivery went as well as expected, but an item was missing. When I called to ask if the item was being brought to us I was told that we needed to go pick it up. I explained that I couldn’t and that was the reason why I had ordered for delivery and wanted the item. The lady said they couldn’t deliver it so I told her I would be writing a negative review and she genuinely felt nervous but she still couldn’t deliver the orange chicken. Eventually my wife drove over to pick up the item and they were more than apologetic, gave us two extra dishes and free sodas. We’ll definitely go back as our favorite restaurant closed down and needed a new go to place. Hopefully service will be better next time and I’ll update it to 5 stars!

Strictly a to-go spot for quick and easy Chinese food. Great portions, no frills. My boyfriend and I were craving quick Chinese food and this hit the spot.
